The goal: Yoga Connect had loyal students and a strong sense of community within the classroom, but their online presence was lacking. I was hired to build their social identity and unify their brand messaging across Facebook and Instagram.
How I did it: The studio owners and I launched a series of free yoga classes people could attend knowing I would be taking pictures. I shot students practicing to authentically capture the Yoga Connect experience and the people who practice there. I also took stills of the studios and teacher headshots for the business to use to unify the brand look and feel. I published these photos across their social platforms and managed the account content for 6 months.
What happened next: Their social audience grew by 88%, and their next Yoga Marathon celebrating recently graduated yoga teachers that I promoted online was completely full. This project blended my passions: photography, content development, and yoga, and it was rewarding to create an inclusive space online.
